Floral Preservationist & Botanical Jewellery Designer

Hello, my name is Akane (meaning 'the colour of sunset' in Japanese) - the creator behind Vintage and Bloom Botanicals. I've been living in Australia for nearly 15 years now with my husband and 2 boys; who couldn't care less about flowers or jewellery (^^;) But that's OK, this is my thing, my identity. I love living in Australia and have a passion for anything vintage, botanical, quirky and one of a kind. I enjoy eating out and discovering new cafes, restaurants and pubs. I've hitchhiked across Japan and backpacked through 11 countries in Europe before getting married. We would love to visit these countries again with our kids one day, but our biggest priority now is visiting all of our family and friends in Japan. And of course, enjoying all the yummy food and going snowboarding.

My Commitment

I know how much of you gets poured into your wedding day, in terms of time, emotion and planning. After all that work, it is so sad to see all those beautiful flowers eventually fade away. So I am committed to saving them and giving them new life.

To create that special something for you, I only use premium quality Australian-made resin and keepsake flower moulds. Just like with my jewellery, I only use the best quality 24K gold plated settings and parts, made in Japan.

I pride myself on the sophisticated details and each delicate design. Every piece is truly 'one of a kind' and unique - just like you.
